BMW Digital Instrument Panel Dashboard for 7 Series F01 F02 F03 – Digital Cluster and Counter (Virtual Cockpit)
Around 2019*, BMW launched its first fully digital instrument panel with multiple looks and styles! This was mounted in, among others, the BMW F40, G20, G30, and so on. The digital instrument panel greatly modernized the overall car compared to its predecessor. You could view many things and set various things to taste! Our task is to make this instrument panel workable in the BMW 7 Series F01, F02, and F03.
And it worked! A beautiful result with no less than 4 OEM-inspired themes, with a huge amount of color options and a large amount of readable data which is sometimes not even visible in the original!
The four customizable themes are inspired by:
-
- OEM BMW G20 3 Series Style
- OEM BMW G30 5 Series Style
- OEM BMW G80 M Style
- OEM BMW i4 Style
In addition to the standard data such as the fuel level and so on, the digital instrument panel also shows the oil temperature, the steering wheel angle, and much more.
You can also set your own maintenance intervals for brake pads, spark plugs, and much more. BMW is often very reserved in view of the number of KM before maintenance is required. As a result, many of our customers often perform maintenance between the originally recommended intervals. The digital instrument panel can come in handy here to set a reminder for these things.
The instrument panel is completely plug-and-play. Coding is not necessary. It will automatically take over the mileage and, based on the chassis number, we will ensure that you get the correct instrument panel with the correct software for your BMW BMW 7 Series F01, F02, and F03. All you have to do is remove the old instrument panel and put the new one in. Apple egg, after 15 minutes you can already enjoy your new instrument panel!
We have been working on these instrument panels since the beginning of 2022. The software offered elsewhere is not stable and has countless bugs, something that absolutely does NOT belong in a BMW. In addition, others save a lot on the LCD panel. Something we absolutely do not do. We choose the best LCD panel available in terms of brightness and anti-glare effect.
Buy from us and enjoy high quality and workmanship, both in terms of hardware and software.
Previously, the 6WB was also released by BMW. This one was also completely digital. However, it did not have multiple styles, only multiple colors.
Functions that do not (yet) work
- Navigation instructions as sometimes available on the original instrument panel by means of arrows will not be shown on the new instrument panel.
- Pedestrian collision warning. This will permanently give an error. If your car has a pedestrian collision warning, you can only use the digital instrument panel if you have the front collision warning written out by means of coding or if you ‘can live with an error’.
